The team behind Newbookclloud
Newbookclloud is a small, self-funded team based in Rome, Italy. We build third-party add-on modules for hoteliers who run their property management stack on Wubook — specifically Wubook ZAK, plus the Bookizer and RateChecker components. Our thesis is simple: Wubook covers 80% of what a small-to-mid Italian hotel needs; the remaining 20% is where a focused add-on shop delivers more value than yet another all-in-one PMS migration.
The company was incorporated as Newbookclloud Retail S.r.l. in June 2023. Our registered office is Via Cavour 47, 00184 Roma. We are entered in the Registro delle Imprese of the Camera di Commercio di Roma under REA number RM-1548273 and hold P.IVA IT 07284916350. Share capital is €10.000, fully paid up. We are registered as a data controller with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, and all guest data flows through EU-based infrastructure — Frankfurt for compute, Milan for cold storage.
The team
Marco Bellandi — CEO & Amministratore Unico. Fifteen years in hospitality technology, previously head of channel management at a Roman hotel group with 380 rooms across four properties. Runs commercial, product and finance from the Rome office.
Sofia Ricci — CTO. Twelve years building integrations against booking engines and channel managers. Previously led the API platform team at an Italian travel-tech scale-up. Runs engineering, security and infrastructure from a small Milan satellite office.
Team of six engineers and two support agents. Distributed between Rome, Milan and Bologna. All full-time employees on Italian contracts. We do not use freelancers for anything that touches your Wubook data.
What we ship
The catalogue currently holds twelve modules covering rate automation, front desk digests, sync monitoring, Italian invoicing via Fatture in Cloud, housekeeping boards, corporate rate management, group enquiry routing, F&B POS bridges, guest Wi-Fi sign-on, nightly trial balances, OTA reconciliation and data warehouse replication. We add one new module roughly every 8 to 10 weeks, always based on what customers in our support channel are asking for most often.
What we do not do
We do not compete with Wubook. We do not offer a channel manager, a booking engine or a PMS of our own. If you leave Newbookclloud, everything in your Wubook account keeps working — we are a strictly additive layer. We also do not resell your data, do not offer paid placement on the catalogue, and do not run affiliate schemes on module recommendations.
