FAQ
Common questions before your first purchase
Do I need a Wubook account to use Newbookclloud?
Yes. Newbookclloud is an add-on shop — modules only work if you already have an active Wubook ZAK subscription. If you do not have one yet, sign up on wubook.net first.
How long does activation actually take?
The Wubook Login authorisation step takes about 90 seconds. Room and rate mapping typically takes another 60 to 120 seconds for a small property. Most modules are producing output within 2 minutes.
When is the first invoice issued?
Immediately at activation. The first month is prorated by day count, so if you activate on the 12th, the first invoice covers day 12 through the end of the month.
Can I get an Italian fattura elettronica?
Yes. Enter your codice destinatario or PEC address at checkout and the invoice will be routed through Sistema di Interscambio (SdI) within 48 hours.
What if I cancel mid-month?
Cancellation stops the recurring charge at the end of the paid period. No refund on the current month, but no further charges either. Cancellation is one click from your account page.
Do you store my Wubook password?
No. The Wubook Login flow returns a signed token to our servers. Your password is entered on wubook.net and never reaches Newbookclloud.
What if I forget my Wubook password?
Reset it on wubook.net, then return to Newbookclloud and click "Reconnect". The token will refresh automatically. See our Wubook Login guide for details.
Can two people share the same Wubook Login?
We recommend one authorised token per staff member. Wubook lets you create additional operator accounts inside your property — use those instead of sharing credentials.
Which Wubook endpoints do you use?
Rates, Availability, Reservations, Guest, Charges, Channel and Room States — depending on the module. See Wubook integrations for the full mapping.
Do you support Wubook Bookizer or Wubook RateChecker?
Modules that reference Bookizer or RateChecker access those components through the same Wubook API. We do not require a separate credential for them.
Can I use these modules with a non-Wubook PMS?
No. Every module in this catalogue is written specifically against the Wubook API and does not run against Protel, Opera, Cloudbeds or Mews.
Where is guest data stored?
EU-based data centres in Frankfurt and Milan. No guest data leaves the European Economic Area. Full detail in the Privacy Notice and Data Processing Agreement.
Are you registered with the Italian data authority?
Yes. Newbookclloud Retail S.r.l. is registered as data controller with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
Can I download my data at any time?
Yes. Every module supports one-click export of all data it produces, in CSV or JSON. Data is retained for 25 months by default and can be purged on request.
