How to sign in with your Wubook Login
This guide walks through the Wubook Login flow — the authentication step that lets Newbookclloud connect an add-on module to your Wubook ZAK account. Follow the six steps below; the second half of the page covers the five error patterns that account for roughly 90% of "Wubook Login not working" tickets we handle.
Six steps to a working Wubook Login
- Open newbookclloud.org and go to the Access page. The link is in the header pill labelled "Wubook Login". You will land on the /access page which asks for your property email — the email address you have on file with Wubook, not a personal Gmail.
- Enter the property email and click "Send Wubook Login link". You receive a message with a one-time link within 30 seconds. The link is valid for 30 minutes and can be used once. Sender address is auth@newbookclloud.org — if it lands in spam, whitelist that address.
- Click the one-time link. Your browser opens a new tab and redirects you to the wubook.net login screen. From this point on, everything you type is on wubook.net — Newbookclloud never sees it.
- Enter your Wubook username and password on wubook.net. If you have two-factor authentication enabled on your Wubook account, complete the second factor prompt now. If you do not have 2FA yet, we strongly recommend enabling it from your Wubook account settings before returning to us.
- Approve the requested scopes. Wubook shows a consent screen listing exactly what Newbookclloud is asking permission to do — for example "Read reservations", "Write rate plans", "Read room states". Review the list. Nothing that is not on this list can be accessed. Click "Approve".
- You are redirected back to newbookclloud.org. An orange badge appears in the header showing "Wubook Login active" and your property name. From here you can add any module in the catalogue — subsequent additions do not require a new sign-in unless they request scopes you have not previously granted.
Five common problems and how to fix them
Problem 1 — the one-time link does not arrive
In most cases the email was filtered as spam by your mail server. Search your mailbox for "auth@newbookclloud.org" or "Newbookclloud Login". If nothing turns up after 5 minutes, request a fresh link from /access — the old one expires after 30 minutes anyway. If two links in a row do not arrive, write to support@newbookclloud.org from the same email and we will investigate the delivery route.
Problem 2 — wubook.net rejects the password
This is a Wubook-side issue and Newbookclloud cannot fix it. Reset your Wubook password directly from the wubook.net login screen using the "Forgot password" link. Once you have a fresh password, return to /access and request a new one-time link — the previous flow has expired.
Problem 3 — Wubook says "operator does not have API access"
Wubook accounts can have multiple operators (staff logins) with different levels of permission. If the operator you are trying to authorise with does not have API access, Wubook will refuse. Log in to your Wubook admin area with the main property owner account, go to Settings → Users, and grant "API" to the operator you want to use.
Problem 4 — the redirect back to newbookclloud.org fails
Usually a browser extension (uBlock Origin, Ghostery, corporate DNS filter) blocked the redirect URL. Try the flow in a private/incognito window. If that works, whitelist newbookclloud.org in your extension. If it still fails, the wubook.net token was actually issued but not received — write to support@newbookclloud.org with the timestamp and we will retrieve it manually.
Problem 5 — 2FA code no longer works
Your Wubook 2FA is tied to a specific device (usually an authenticator app or SMS to a specific phone). If the phone was replaced or the app was reinstalled, the codes will no longer match. Contact Wubook support to reset 2FA. Once reset, redo the Newbookclloud Wubook Login flow from step 1.
What Newbookclloud cannot do
We cannot log in as you, we cannot bypass Wubook Login, we cannot reset your Wubook password, we cannot recover a lost 2FA device on your behalf. All of those are Wubook-side actions performed on wubook.net or through Wubook's own support desk. Reminder: Newbookclloud is an independent shop of add-on modules — not Wubook s.r.l. The Wubook Login is issued by wubook.net, and Newbookclloud only receives the authorisation token you approve on their side.
